Inspiration + Description + Process
I’ve always liked Perry the Platypus, so here’s a baby version of Perry!
A chubby platypus that fits snuggly in your hand with a tiny accent spy hat on top of the round body! Along with a tiny flappy tail at the back and small feet ready to run and accomplish the next mission!
The inspiration behind this crochet baby platypus was besides the fact I watched Phineas and Ferb when I was small. And I’ve always liked Perry the Platypus because of how cute he is. And this project turns out to be my sister’s favorite project of mine because of how adorable it is XD
Why I’ve decided to create a platypus is that it’s in the near threatened stage , though it might not be as endangered as other animals, it’s still being affected by the environment. Otherwise, it’s a project that I really enjoyed :3

Stuff some cotton in the hat and sew the hat on
Sew the tail on the back as it is
Feet
Grab a long strand of blue yarn, and thread the needle. Get to the bottom of the platypus and sew repeatedly across 3 stitches at the bottom to create a tiny bump.
