The famous tiktok meme, duck with a knife in crochet form is now available as a free amigurumi pattern on the Yarnalina blog!
Inspiration & Description & Process
Crochet strawberry cows. Crochet frogs. Crochet Penguins.
The crochet duck with a knife pattern was almost bound to appear on the Yarnalina blog with its popularity on Tiktok, and I received a couple of Youtube comments requesting more animal amigurumi patterns!
Of course I had to answer to popular demand.
The crochet duck with a knife pattern was relatively easy to piece together to present on the Yarnalina blog, the one part of the pattern that took a couple of tries to get right was the small knife. Which I couldn’t omit, even if I wanted to since it’s literally in the name of the whole meme.
I wanted to make all of my crochet amigurumis around the same height, so this duck is around the same size as the penguin and frog.
If you came from the Yarnalina youtube channel, please ignore the fact that I sometimes called the duck as a chicken.
In my defense, they’re both yellow.
I tried my very best to replicate my amigurumi to the image, which wasn’t hard since the shape was just a…dome? But it still had some difficulty since there was only one image to reference to, and the crochet knife was arguably the hardest part of the entire project. But I gave a detailed tutorial of the knife in the video tutorial linked below!

I was more than happy to receive a request for another crochet amigurumi pattern for the Yarnalina blog, as I’ve always loved making amigurumis 🙂
They’re also a lot easier to publish compared to bigger clothing projects I post on the Yarnalina blog.
Which sometimes spans across months for me to make, edit the video, write the post/pattern, and finally publish.
The crochet duck with a knife is fighting for my number one favorite amigurumi that I made in this Tiktok series, though if you want any more crochet amigurumis that you want me to make, feel free to comment on any of my video tutorials and I’ll think about it!
If you’d like another amigurumi tiktok crochet project as this, this crochet strawberry cow amigurumi and crochet baby penguin amigurumi could also be a wonderful project for you to tackle next!
