The perfect addition as your own handmade decor — the crochet vintage flower pot amigurumi that is now a free pattern here available on the blog!

Inspiration & Description & Process
After the great success of my first amigurumi pattern, the baby platypus amigurumi, I thought I would return to my roots a little and make another amigurumi!
After I got my hands on these two cakes of yarn, I knew I had to make something equally beautiful to justify this yarn itself! Though it would be great for project like shawls etc, I chose amigurumis this time around!
Since I’m also on the process of changing my desk, I thought a perfect little decor amigurumi project would be perfect as my next project to tackle! I love the little folds that makes the flowers similar to roses 🙂 I could easily imagine the flowers made in red and given to others as gifts during Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day.
Besides red, if you want to keep it vintage-y like me, color variations like Flower Garden, Cool Night, or Chai Latte are great options too!

Assembly
Stuff the plant pot with cotton before sewing on the soil with the white yarn tail. Then roll, sew, and secure each flower so they won’t unravel before you use pins to try out the placement of flowers on the pot. Sew on the flowers, and you’re done with your crochet vintage flower pot amigurumi!
Conclusion
